Hoarafushi, Haa Alif Atoll
Araaik Beach Village sits on Hoarafushi in Haa Alif Atoll — a quieter northern island where contemporary villas meet everyday Maldivian life. Ten boutique rooms and pool villas open to beach and garden, with Magoo Restaurant, spa, and a private stretch of sand kept intentionally small.
Araaik is not a private-island compound. It sits on Hoarafushi, so the stay includes both a quiet beach village and the everyday life of a northern Maldivian island — boats, school hours, and a pace that is not built only for visitors.
The property itself stays small: ten boutique rooms and pool villas, a restaurant, a spa, and a stretch of sand that is not shared with a large resort. Service is personal because there are not hundreds of rooms to move through.
Guests come for beach and garden villas, lagoon swimming, and evenings at Magoo. Transfers, spa hours, and any boat time are arranged from the same small team.

On the island
Private beach & lagoon
A stretch of sand for swimming and empty hours, with the lagoon close enough to enter from the beach villas.
Magoo Restaurant
The single dining room for the village — international and Maldivian plates, a seasonal menu, and private tables on request.
Araaik Spa
Intimate treatment rooms for massage and longer programmes, with the garden and lagoon used as the second half of the hour.
Concierge & boats
Transfers, sunset hours, and simple island time, arranged without a large activities desk.
The table
Magoo Restaurant is the heart of the evening: fresh island ingredients, a mix of Maldivian and wider plates, and the option of a private table on the sand. Breakfast is included with the villa; lunch and dinner can stay in the main room or move when you want them quieter.
Beyond the villa
Hoarafushi is an inhabited island, which is the difference most guests notice. You can walk beyond the village, see daily island life, and still return to a private pool villa. It is a quieter corner of the north — further than many central-atoll resorts, and smaller for it.
The journey
Fly into Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé.
A domestic flight north toward Haa Alif is the usual next step — reservations will confirm the day’s routing.
A short boat transfer completes the journey to Hoarafushi and the village.
Early Bird bookings include the island transfer for the named guests.
